The bill imposes a $10 fee on each customer entry for sexually oriented businesses in North Carolina that hold an alcohol permit. The fee is intended to address adverse secondary impacts caused by such businesses. The collected fees will be deposited into the Sexual Assault and Rape Crisis Center Fund, managed by the North Carolina Council for Women. Businesses must remit the fees quarterly and maintain daily records of customer entries, excluding personal information. The act becomes effective October 1, 2026.
