The bill requires the Attorney General of North Carolina to investigate incidents involving federal immigration enforcement that result in serious bodily injury or death within the state. The investigation must determine the cause and circumstances of the incident. The Attorney General must publicly release findings and recommendations and provide copies to the Speaker of the House and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. The bill also appropriates $450,000 in nonrecurring funds for fiscal year 2026-2027 to implement these requirements.
