At-Large Elections/Jacksonville City Council

Requires all Jacksonville City Council members to be elected at-large.

This bill amends the Jacksonville City Charter to change the election process for City Council members. It mandates that all council members, previously elected by ward, will now be elected at-large by the entire city's qualified voters. The mayor will continue to be elected at-large. The change takes effect after the next regular municipal election following approval by the Department of Justice.
