This amendment enhances the basic sentence of imprisonment for possession of fentanyl in relation to trafficking offenses. Specifically, possession of between one hundred and five hundred pills, capsules, or tablets containing fentanyl, or between ten and fifty grams of fentanyl powder, can result in an additional three years of imprisonment.
