New Jersey S906 allows individuals to voluntarily indicate special needs on their motor vehicle registration.

New Jersey S906 mandates the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission to permit individuals to voluntarily indicate on their motor vehicle registration if they or an immediate family member have special needs. "Special needs" refers to a physical, mental, or developmental disability that significantly limits one or more major life activities.
