This bill transfers primary administration of the WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, the Seniors Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children from the New Jersey Department of Health to the Department of Agriculture. The bill also transfers all related grants, moneys, and necessary employees to the Department of Agriculture. The changes are to be made in accordance with the "State Agency Transfer Act." The bill takes effect immediately upon enactment.
