The bill establishes the Civil Air Patrol Fund within the Department of Military Affairs, a non-lapsing fund to be supported by annual appropriations of $100,000. The fund will receive contributions from the General Fund, federal and other grants, and public donations. The Department of Military Affairs will use the fund to support cadet programs, training, equipment, and other activities of the Civil Air Patrol Wing in New Jersey. The fund will be administered by the State Treasurer, who must certify the fund's balance to the Legislature every 180 days.
