Establishes "Commission on Statewide Affordable Housing Obligations" to assess need for low and moderate income housing.

The bill establishes the "Commission on Statewide Affordable Housing Obligations" to evaluate and determine the Statewide need for low and moderate income housing. The commission will identify factors influencing housing affordability, establish methods for calculating housing need, and determine the Statewide need for low and moderate income housing every five years. The commission will issue reports to the Governor and the Legislature.
