New Jersey S831 sets biennial renewal of nursing licenses to expire on the professional's birthday.

New Jersey S831 changes the expiration date for biennial renewal of licenses or certificates issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing. Instead of fixed dates, these licenses and certificates will now expire on the professional's birthday. If the birthday does not fall on a calendar day in the renewal year, the license or certificate will expire on the last day of the professional's birth month. This bill applies to licenses and certificates issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing after the effective date.
