Exempts persons with disabilities and homeless individuals from identification card fees in New Jersey.

This bill exempts persons with disabilities and homeless individuals from paying identification card fees in New Jersey. The chief administrator must waive fees for homeless individuals who provide proof of temporary residence through a social worker or emergency shelter coordinator. For persons with disabilities, proof of disability, as determined by the Chief Administrator in consultation with the federal Social Security Administration, is required. The commission must report annually to the Office of Homelessness Prevention in the Department of Community Affairs on fee waivers provided.
