New Jersey S807 authorizes the Surrogate of every county to establish electronic systems to accept electronic signatures on qualifying documents in probate matters. These documents include applications for probate, authorizations to accept service of process, executor qualifications, surety bonds, renunciations, and affidavits of assets. The bill does not apply to any wills. The Supreme Court may adopt Rules of Court and the Administrative Director of the Courts may issue directives to implement the purposes of this act. The act takes effect immediately.
