Authorizes State Treasurer to appoint Garden State Preservation Trust acting executive director if position has been vacant for a year or more.

The bill allows the State Treasurer, in consultation with the Commissioner of Environmental Protection and the Secretary of Agriculture, to appoint an acting executive director for the Garden State Preservation Trust (GSPT) if the executive director position has been vacant for a year or longer. The acting executive director would serve for at least one year, with an annual expense not exceeding $150,000, set by the State Treasurer. The GSPT would retain all other oversight authority over the acting executive director.
