Establishes a three-year pilot program to assist 12th grade students with federal financial aid applications.

The bill establishes a three-year pilot program in the Department of Education to provide information and assistance to 12th grade students regarding the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Participating school districts must ensure students receive information on FAFSA completion and submission before entering grade 12. The Commissioner of Education will select four districts in each region of the state to participate. The program aims to ensure students have the opportunity and instruction necessary to apply for federal financial aid.
