The bill allows limited breweries to operate up to 15 off-premises retail salesrooms for selling their products in original containers or open containers. It also permits limited breweries and wineries producing 250,000 gallons or less per year to jointly operate a salesroom on the same premises. Breweries are prohibited from jointly operating salesrooms with other breweries, and wineries are prohibited from jointly operating salesrooms with other wineries. The bill also allows wineries to sell their products in open containers on the salesroom premises.
