New Jersey S502 requires municipalities to reimburse qualified private communities for street paving costs.

New Jersey S502 amends existing law to require municipalities to either pave, repave, improve, or reimprove roads and streets within qualified private communities that meet certain criteria or to provide reimbursement in lieu of these services. This applies to roads and streets that have been accepted for dedication to public use or meet municipal standards and specifications for dedication, except for width.
