New Jersey S492 prohibits the Council on Affordable Housing from generating affordable housing needs for municipalities when a commercial or industrial entity moves within the same municipality, within the same housing region, or within a 50-mile radius from the initial location. Municipalities are also barred from imposing fees for affordable housing purposes on developers meeting the bill's criteria. This act takes effect immediately.
