Adjusts State residency requirement for free hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses, stamps, and permits for disabled veterans.
This bill amends the law to allow disabled veterans who are residents of states that provide similar benefits to New Jersey disabled veterans to receive free hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses, stamps, and permits. Currently, only disabled veterans who are residents of New Jersey qualify for this exemption. To qualify, a veteran must have been honorably discharged from the military and have a service-connected disability recognized by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
