This bill concerns administrative fees charged for certain toll violations. It requires the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and the South Jersey Transportation Authority to send an advisory and payment request within 21 days of a toll violation. The request must contain the toll amount due, the administrative fee charged, and instructions on how the owner may resolve the matter before a summons and complaint are issued. The bill restricts the administrative fee to $15 for a toll under $10 and requires a proportional sliding-scale structure for a toll of $10 or more.
