Lowers minimum uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage for transportation network companies and drivers.

This bill reduces the minimum amount of uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage required for transportation network companies and their drivers when providing prearranged rides. The required coverage would decrease from $1,500,000 to $25,000 for plans issued or renewed after January 1, 2023 but before January 1, 2026. The bill also mandates primary automobile insurance for medical payments benefits of at least $10,000 per person per incident, and requires uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage as specified by law.
