This bill revises the membership of the Fish and Game Council in the Division of Fish and Wildlife. It maintains the council's size at 11 members but replaces three of the six sportsmen representatives with three animal welfare representatives. The council's members are chosen based on their knowledge of and interest in the conservation of fish and game. The council consists of three farmer representatives, three sportsmen representatives, three animal welfare representatives, the chair of the Endangered and Nongame Species Advisory Committee, and one member knowledgeable in land use.
