Extends statute of limitations for civil actions against third parties for wrongful death under certain circumstances.

This bill extends the statute of limitations for certain civil actions for wrongful death. It allows actions against third parties to be brought within six years after the death of the decedent if the death resulted from murder, aggravated manslaughter, or manslaughter. The bill also ensures that immunity for public entities and public employees under the New Jersey Tort Claims Act does not apply if the death was caused by a willful, wanton, or grossly negligent act.
