New Jersey S4675 allows choice districts to enroll new out-of-district students on a tuition basis after ending their choice program.
New Jersey S4675 amends the interdistrict public school choice program law. It allows a choice district to enroll new out-of-district students on a tuition basis after terminating its choice program, provided these students transfer from nonpublic schools or home schools, or have extraordinary circumstances. The district must annually determine the number of out-of-district enrollments based on its capacity. Students already enrolled in the choice program at the time of termination can remain until graduation.
