Reallocates forfeited property proceeds for drug-related offenses to incentivize informants and fund inpatient drug treatment.

This bill amends New Jersey law to reallocate a portion of the proceeds from forfeited property obtained from drug-related offenses that arise from information provided by an informant. Ten percent of the proceeds will be paid to the informant. Additionally, five percent of the proceeds will be deposited into the "Inpatient Drug Rehabilitation Assistance Fund" to provide treatment at a licensed residential drug treatment program to New Jersey citizens who cannot afford treatment. The fund will be managed by the Commissioner of Human Services.
