New Jersey S4529 modifies the definition of "public work" to exclude certain properties from prevailing wage requirements. Specifically, the bill excludes construction, reconstruction, demolition, alteration, custom fabrication, repair work, or maintenance work on properties owned by or under the control of a public body if the property is located within a distressed area, is under exclusive control of a non-public entity for temporary events, or is not open to the general public.
