Upgrades trespass in or upon casino gaming property to fourth degree crime.

This bill upgrades trespass in or upon casino gaming property to a fourth degree crime, increasing penalties. Previously, such trespass was a petty disorderly persons offense. The bill amends statutes to clarify locations subject to enhanced penalties for criminal trespass and aligns definitions with recent legislation. A fourth degree crime is punishable by imprisonment for up to 18 months, a fine of up to $10,000, or both.
