New Jersey S4466 requires the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to provide lactation rooms at airports with over 10,000 enplanements per year. Airports with 1,000,000 or more enplanements must offer a private room behind security for expressing breast milk, including a chair and an electrical outlet. Airports with fewer than 1,000,000 but more than 10,000 enplanements must provide such rooms upon completing a new terminal or renovating an existing one, including a sink. The act takes effect upon similar legislation in New York.
