New Jersey S4442 provides additional State school aid to coastal school districts affected by development restrictions.

New Jersey S4442, the "Fairness for Coastal School Districts in Development Restricted Areas Act," provides additional State school aid to qualifying school districts. These are districts that experienced a net loss in State school aid and have a resident enrollment of over 500 students. The districts must also be located in municipalities where at least 20 percent of the total acreage is in the coastal area as defined by the Coastal Area Facility Review Act.
