Allows unexpended nonpublic textbook aid or aid for Nonpublic Technology Initiative to support services under the other program.
Under current law, if a school district spends less than the state aid received for nonpublic textbook aid or the Nonpublic Technology Initiative, it must refund the unexpended aid. This bill allows unexpended aid from either program to be used for services under the other program. The act amends existing law to permit this flexibility in aid usage.
