Waives professional and occupational licensing fees for veterans and their spouses in New Jersey.

This bill waives fees for initial applications and issuance of professional and occupational licenses for veterans and their spouses in New Jersey. The waiver applies if the veteran or spouse holds a current license in another jurisdiction with equivalent or substantially equivalent licensure requirements. The bill defines "veteran" as someone honorably discharged from the U.S. Armed Forces or National Guard. The waiver takes effect three months after the bill's enactment.
