New Jersey S430 establishes the "New Jersey Pandemic Bill of Rights for the Welfare of Individuals" to ensure the welfare of citizens during a pandemic or public health emergency. The bill grants individuals rights such as effective safeguards against infectious diseases, full evaluation and treatment in health care facilities, adequate nourishment and medical care, physical and occupational therapies, visitation rights, and protection of legal and medical directives.
