This bill establishes a temporary quorum standard for professional licensing entities in New Jersey for one year. A quorum is defined as a majority of the members present at a meeting, including a meeting with two members if one is the chair. This applies to processing licensure applications that do not require legal review due to adverse information in a criminal history record background check. If an entity cannot achieve a quorum after 90 days, this standard becomes applicable. The bill also requires entities to report to the Legislature if they cannot sustain a quorum after one year.
