The bill establishes a five-year Tri-Share Child Care Pilot Program to create a public-private partnership sharing child care costs among employers, eligible employees, and the State. The program aims to make child care affordable and accessible for working families, help employers retain and attract employees, and stabilize child care providers. The Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development, in consultation with the Commissioner of Children and Families, will establish the program, selecting regional facilitator hubs to implement and administer it.
