New Jersey S4203 mandates that health benefits plans allow any pharmacy meeting standard terms to participate as a network pharmacy.

New Jersey S4203 requires health benefits plans that provide prescription drug or pharmacy services coverage and are managed by a pharmacy benefits manager to allow any pharmacy meeting the standard contract terms and conditions to participate as a network pharmacy. The terms and conditions are to be reasonable and relevant, as determined by the Commissioner of Banking and Insurance, who will review current contract terms and reimbursement fees. The act also allows the Commissioner to adopt necessary rules and regulations to implement these provisions.
