Clarifies that school personnel can transport students in vehicles with a capacity of eight or less.

This bill amends existing law to clarify that school personnel can transport students to and from school and related activities in vehicles with a capacity of eight or less. It specifies that these vehicles can be private or school-owned. The bill also allows certified mobility assistance vehicle technicians to transport students with medical needs in mobility assistance vehicles. The designated personnel must meet certain criteria, including having a completed physical, a criminal history background check, and a driving record showing no disqualifying violations.
