New Jersey S4143 permits chambers of commerce, trade associations, and nonprofit business coalitions in good standing for at least two years to establish association health plans or multiple employer welfare arrangements. Members of these plans can receive tax credits of up to $1,000 per employee, with an annual cap of $20,000 per taxpayer. The bill also mandates a public awareness campaign by the Commissioner of Banking and Insurance to inform stakeholders about these coverage options.
