The bill establishes the New Jersey Suicide Prevention Advisory Council in the Department of Health. This council will replace the existing New Jersey Youth Suicide Prevention Advisory Council and the New Jersey Elderly Person Suicide Prevention Advisory Council. The council will consist of 25 members, including 13 ex officio members and 12 public members appointed by the Governor, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of the General Assembly.
