New Jersey S4086 authorizes employees of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) to take leave of absence during ordered military duty or for certain activities as a member of the organized militia or reserve forces. The leave does not interrupt continuous employment and employees are not to lose benefits or privileges. PANYNJ employees are entitled to their salary or compensation during absences related to military duty, up to 30 or 22 working days, whichever is greater, in a calendar year.
