Establishes Nursing School Expansion Grant Program; appropriates $25 million.

The bill establishes the Nursing School Expansion Grant Program, administered by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, to provide grants to eligible nursing education programs. These programs, located in public institutions, independent institutions, or hospital-based schools, must submit applications detailing their enrollment, graduation rates, and plans for increasing capacity. The Chief Executive Officer, in consultation with the New Jersey Collaborating Center for Nursing, will develop criteria for evaluating applications and awarding grants.
