Exempts expansion or reconstruction of municipal and county buildings and certain emergency services buildings from Highlands Water Protection and.

The bill amends the "Highlands Water Protection and Planning Act" to exempt expansion or reconstruction of municipal and county buildings and certain emergency services buildings from its provisions. The exemption applies if the expansion or reconstruction is within 125% of the existing footprint and does not increase the existing impervious surface by one-quarter acre or more. The exemption does not apply to agricultural or horticultural buildings used for non-agricultural or non-horticultural purposes.
