New Jersey S3829 provides consumer protections under certain telecommunications service provider contracts. It prohibits providers from imposing early termination, cancellation, or applicable fees on subscribers who terminate service before the contract expires if they experience more than three service outages in any 30-day period. The provider must also refund any fees paid for establishing or activating service and any fees paid to the previous provider for terminating service.
