New Jersey S3752 establishes an optional special needs training program for professional and shop licensees of the New Jersey State Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling. The bill allows any person holding a license to practice cosmetology, hairstyling, hair braiding, barbering, beauty culture, manicuring, or skin care specialty in the state to undertake the training program. Upon completion, a licensee can submit proof to the board and, upon approval, be issued a designation authorizing them to provide services to individuals with special needs.
