New Jersey S3751 mandates the suspension of homemaker-home health aide certification if allegations of abuse, neglect, or violence are reported.

New Jersey S3751 requires the New Jersey Board of Nursing to defer consideration or withhold approval of certification for homemaker-home health aides if there are allegations of abuse, neglect, or violence against patients. This deferral or withholding remains in effect until the final disposition of any related inquiry, investigation, or legal proceedings. The suspension cannot exceed 120 days unless the case remains pending or is extended for other reasons.
