This bill exempts individuals with disabilities from paying municipal parking meter fees when they are either the driver or a passenger in a vehicle displaying a placard or wheelchair symbol license plate. The exemption does not apply if the vehicle is parked for more than 24 hours at one location. The Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission will adopt rules and regulations to implement this exemption.
