Establishes the Autism Education Council to improve services for children with autism in New Jersey.

The New Jersey Autism Education Act establishes the Autism Education Council within the Department of Education. The council will consist of seven members, including the Commissioner of Education or their designee, and six public members appointed by the Governor. The council will award grants to public school districts and higher education institutions to enhance services for children with autism. These grants can be used for professional development, hiring additional staff, and providing supplemental education services.
