Introduced Text

New Jersey joins the EMS Personnel Licensure Interstate Compact to facilitate EMS personnel movement across state lines.

This bill allows New Jersey to join the Recognition of Emergency Medical Services Personnel Licensure Interstate Compact (REPLICA). This compact facilitates the movement of EMS personnel across state lines by allowing EMS personnel licensed in one state to practice in other compact states. It establishes a commission to oversee the compact, manage a coordinated database, and promulgate rules. The compact aims to protect public health and safety, enhance state cooperation, and support military members and their spouses.
