New Jersey S3600 revises procedures for temporary guardianship, requiring court approval for guardian powers and limiting temporary guardianship to.

New Jersey S3600 amends the law concerning the appointment of pendente lite temporary guardians for an alleged incapacitated person. The bill requires that notice of the application for pendente lite temporary guardianship and the order granting the appointment be given to the alleged incapacitated person and their attorney, as well as to the alleged incapacitated person’s next of kin and any other relevant parties.
