Requires legislative approval for State Board of Education rules and regulations; repeals equity regulations.

This bill mandates legislative approval for the State Board of Education to adopt, amend, or repeal any rules and regulations. It also requires the Board to obtain a concurrent resolution from the Legislature for actions such as readopting an expiring rule or readopting a rule without changes, with technical changes, or with substantive changes. If the Legislature disapproves a rule or readoption, it cannot be adopted. Additionally, the bill repeals the "Managing for Equity in Education" regulations found within chapter 7 of Title 6A of the New Jersey Administrative Code.
