S.3510

Requires employers whose employees are subject to contracts that are amendable and do not expire to provide earned sick leave.

Introduced·2/12/26
Introduced Text

Requires employers with amendable contracts to provide earned sick leave.

This bill amends the New Jersey Earned Sick Leave Law to ensure that employees under amendable contracts receive earned sick leave. Previously, the law applied to employees under contracts that expired or terminated. This change ensures that workers with amendable contracts, such as those governed by the "Railway Labor Act," also receive earned sick leave. The provisions take effect when these contracts become amendable.
