New Jersey S3475 allows the Department of Veterans Affairs to accept voluntary contributions for veteran suicide prevention public service.

New Jersey S3475 permits the Department of Veterans Affairs to accept gifts, grants, or donations from the public and private sectors for the purpose of creating public service announcements aimed at preventing veteran suicide. The funds will be deposited into a special nonlapsing fund maintained by the State Treasurer, and will be used solely to fund these public service announcements. This act takes effect immediately.
