New Jersey S3468 defines "electronic sports event" as competitions involving teams or individuals using video games, occurring at physical locations or exclusively online. The bill allows wagering on these events at casinos and racetracks, subject to approval by the Division of Gaming Enforcement. Wagering on electronic sports events occurring outside New Jersey is permitted only with division approval.
